Biba Restorations is selling the unrestored 1969 Alfa Romeo Spider you see below for $4,300 only with a full restoration. The goal was to keep
this simple, but apparently not: A number of items removed from
this Spider have been painted, plated, straightened and polished,
etc. There is no way they could be included in this selling price.
It's really simple, you pay the $4.3K, sign an Agreement that
among other things the Spider will be left at the shop until
the restoration has been completed. With a separate check for
the deposit, you then receive the title. You will be invoiced
for the work on these parts, as the project progresses. In essence you're purchasing the car in three of the photos below which show a complete car. The interior photo with all items removed is how it currently is. All exterior items have also been removed. This will be the seventh '69 Spider BR has restored or completed major work on. We know how to put it back together - you might not. The goal is to find an individual who is interested in having a '69 Spider restored as it should be - and who has a realistic knowledge of both the effort and costs involved in completing the project. The restoration will take 12 to 18 months from the date the Agreement is signed. The standard $3,600 deposit along with the cost of the Spider are due at this time. The deposit can be spread over three months if preferred. BR has a clear title to the Round-Tail and it is a standard, not salvage, title. All parts for the Spider are in the shop and are readily available. If you are not familiar with having a car restored, please read the four pages whose links are below. Biba Restorations acquired this car in 2000 with the intention of selling it as is, or restoring it to keep. Since so little has been accomplished , BR feels it is time to find someone who has always desired one of these increasingly rare Italian Spiders. Hopefully you've had a chance to look at the (mostly) Spiders we've restored and understand how carefully this Spider will be restored ... to your specifications. |

![]() Fortunately this Spider came quite complete, though it had been sitting outside for sometime in a business' parking lot with the top down. Thus the rust in the floorboards. It hadn't been treated all that well, but much, not all, of the original damage has been attended to. |

![]() Other than the interior floors and forward rocker panels (now repaired) this car is virtually rust free. |
